Competition at her core
Lexie is an Australian Olympian, based on Queensland's Sunshine Coast.
She competed for Australia at the 2008 Olympic Games in archery at just 19 years of age, and made the quarterfinals at the 2010 Commonwealth Games. After stepping away from elite competition for over a decade, an injury at the end of 2021 reignited her passion for archery and dream of competing at the Olympic Games again.
Lexie's goal is to compete at both the LA 2028 and Brisbane 2032 Olympics, aiming to become just the second Australian woman to compete in 3 Olympic Games. At 36, she's out to prove that age is just a number, and it’s never too late to chase your dreams.
The road to LA 2028 is already underway, with four international seasons and multiple trips across the globe planned, in addition to domestic competitions, trials, and training camps.
Lexie is incredibly proud to be part of the Aussie Athlete Fund’s Million Dollar Challenge, powered by Ampol. This initiative connects 100 Australian athletes with businesses to raise $10,000 each, building toward a collective goal of $1 million to support our Olympic dreams.
Driven by 5-time Olympian Nat Cook OAM, this challenge gives athletes like me a platform to find the support we need. Learn more about the Million Dollar Challenge here.
